Founded in April, 1999, aFe was created to address an obvious need in the automotive aftermarket industry: a lack of choice for a high performance aftermarket air filter. Huge, high-flow conical air filters are the first step to increased airflow to the engine. Steel heat shields or molded plastic air boxes keep hot air out and fresh, cold air flowing to the filter. Velocity stacks and precision-designed intake tubes provide smooth, uninterrupted airflow to the turbo or throttle body. aFe Power offers different styles of air intake systems to meet the needs of your power hungry engine. For the largest possible performance gain replace the entire air box and intake tract with our STAGE 2 open element air intake system. If you want to maintain a factory appearance our STAGE 2 Si sealed air box provides quiet power. For a great value and easy installation our STAGE 1 air intake systems adds instant horsepower and torque. All of our cold air intake systems are manufactured and assembled at our Corona, California facility.
Product Description
The aFe Power Magnum FORCE cold air intake system is made of a plastic rotational molded tube for lower temperature and increased air flow. It also utilizes a wrinkle black heat shield that separates the intake system from the engine. This kit includes two aFe Pro 5R, 5 layer oiled filters for maximum airflow. Also included are two air scoops that bolt directly into the BMW front kidneys. aFe cold air intake systems are dyno tested vs. stock and flow tested vs. stock to measure and document increases in horsepower, torque and air flow. This cold air intake produced 27hp and 34 lbs. x ft. of torque to the wheels.
